First review I’ve ever left on gear, as a 40yr guitarist. I paired the Rabid Bitch with a Meaner P90 in the neck position and it is sonic bliss! With a little love on the volume and tone controls, a lot of ground can be covered.

★★★★★

Put a Timbre Wolf in the bridge and Dr. vintage in the neck of a Custom Shop Explorer, and it brought it to life. Putting another Timbre in the bridge of a Custom 24. Beastly pickup with great growl, but also with good low end and note separation. Not to mention the best personalized customer service in the game. Cheers!

★★★★★

Absolutely fantastic pickups. I tried for months to get the stock Burstbucker ‘61s on my Les Paul Standard 60s to sound good, but they always seemed both too harsh and lacking in clarity. I swapped them for a set of Legends and I haven’t touched any of my other guitars since. THIS is the P.A.F. sound I had been searching for - and at an extremely fair price, delivered with top notch customer service to boot.

★★★★★

Fantastic sounding pickups topped with fantastic customer service! Transformed my LP and now sounds exactly like what I always wanted it to sound like.

★★★★★

I have an older Tele Bitch bridge pickup and was running it with a Seymour Duncan vintage mini-humbucker in the neck. I wanted to switch to a regular single coil in the neck. Got a Tele Cub neck pickup today, installed it, and it sounds great. It mixes well with the Tele Bitch at the bridge. Highly recommend this combo.

★★★★★

I’ve been through many PAF replicas throughout the last few years ranging from expensive to outrageously priced and these are far and away the best for me. The clarity in the neck position is outstanding, the bridge pickup has a clear airy quality, it’s exactly what I had in mind. Great price, great service and turnaround time. The pickups also look amazing. At last…no more soldering!

★★★★★

Put the "Meaner" in the neck of a Tele and absolutely love it. I did use a metal pickup cover from Philadelphia Luthers and at some point I may have to compare if there is a difference in tone. I also had the Mean and Meaner combo in an R6 and I am sold on both the pickups and the company. Fantastic product and a very reasonable price and great service (quick replies to my email questions)!

★★★★★

I have had a few real T Tops and probably like 10 or 12 modern clones and yours is the one that’s in my number one Les Paul bridge right now.. It just has something that I need to hear, just clarity and punch and like a honk and with a nice chimney top end..,Such a tasty recipe

★★★★★

Very pleased with the Meanest in an LP Jr. Hot, but not too hot, good bite without being too bright. Wolfe steered me right. Thanks!

★★★★★

I didn't have a P90 guitar so my latest build I dropped in a mean and meaner set. Wow, the sound. They drive my amp into what I was hearing in my head. The sound was clean and clear but not harsh. Both pickups together even sounds amazing. I've owned some no names and some other "great for the money" pickups. So glad I when with the Wolfetones!

★★★★★

I shopped around quite a bit but Wolfe's attention to my inquiries and helpful suggestions made this the obvious choice. This was my first DIY project and he helped me work through some newbie soldering issues that I was having. That is amazing customer care. Everything is installed correctly now and this JR-type guitar has the tone that I was looking for. These pickups sound amazing! Thanks Wolfe!

★★★★★

Have this in the bridge of my home-made nitro tele with a Seymour Duncan vintage mini-humbucker in the neck. Sound fantastic with just the right amount of snarl and mixes well with the mini-humbucker for a great middle position sound.
